2014 SINGAPORE’S GRANDEST EVENT
OF THE GLORIOUS LINEAGE DRIKUNG KAGYU

The renowned Tibetan Buddhist Master and Throne Holder of the Drikung Kagyu Lineage, His Holiness Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang Rinpoche will be here to conduct a large-scale two-day Buddhist event for the very first time in Singapore!
During this 2-day event, precious blessings and empowerments of Namgyalma or Ushnisha Vijaya in Sanskrit (Deity of Longevity and Purification) and the Thousand- Armed Avalokiteshvara (Lord of Great Compassion) will be bestowed. A special Yellow Zambala (Deity of Wealth) prayer session and robe offering ceremony will also be conducted. In addition, participants will partake in the Namgyalma Thousand Offering Puja and offer 1000 sets of Torma (food), Lamp, Incense, Parasol and Victory Banner for the accumulation of merit, purification, longevity and accomplishment.
According to the scriptures, Namgyalma is the manifestation of Buddha Vairochana. If anyone who is touched by the shadow of or even the breeze that comes into contact with a stupa or banner with the mantra will not be reborn in the lower realms; what need is there to mention the extent of purification experienced by those who hear or recite this mantra. Similarly, the merit of a single recitation of Lord Avalokiteshvara’s heart mantra, Om Mani Padme Hung is also inconceivable.
The highlight of this special event, the Namgyalma Thousand Offering Puja is a good way to receive blessings from Namgyalma. Making these symbolical offerings not only plant seeds of positivity for a bountiful future but also help to clear negativities and obstacles in life.
In addition, the wealth attracting prayers of Zambala and the meritorious act of offering robes to the ordained ones also enable us to create positive imprints to pave the way to better days ahead.

尊贵的直贡澈赞法王将在2014年5月24和25日，首次在新加坡举行大形的息灾祈福大法会。
佛学会在新达城403展厅设置坛城，专修尊胜佛母与千手千眼观世音，普利人天，冥阳两利。
尊胜佛母是大日如来的化身。本师释迦牟尼佛曾亲传，得闻此尊胜佛母咒者不落恶道。古往今来，许多寺庙皆依经典记载，以此圣咒竖幡立塔，让所有见闻者与尊胜佛母结缘；乃至让触过此幡塔的一沙一尘以及吹过的风皆带着尊胜佛母的加持，普利一切众生，免除他们落恶道之苦。
今法王观福薄世人难能得以修行之时，特嘱咐办此尊胜佛母法会，由他亲授灌顶并一同与众弟子共修此殊圣法门，帮助有缘成就世间与出世间一切法。
除此之外，法王还会领导众人一同为尊胜佛母献上吉祥千供，以此金刚乘之特殊法门，福慧双修，熄灾解厄。尊胜佛母法会圆满之时，还会办一场财神法会，祈愿福慧增长，一切吉祥圆满。
次日，法王将授予弟子千手千眼观世音灌顶，并与众弟子一同念诵六字大明咒。六字大明咒，观音心咒是也，加持力不可思量，能唤醒行者内在的慈悲与明澈。
此日还能在场供养袈裟，借此良机供养僧众，累积无量无边之功德。
